At SIMI 2019, the Elcimaï Group will showcase its offerings and latest developments in Seine-et-Marne

As a major player in the economic vitality of Seine-et-Marne, the ELCIMAÏ Group is pleased to accept the invitation from the Melun Val de Seine Urban Community to participate in SIMI 2019. The Group will present its services and latest developments in Seine-et-Marne on Wednesday, December 11.

Founded in Melun in 1992 by Pascal Denier, the ELCIMAÏ Group has continued to grow and expand its expertise. Beyond IT and digital engineering, as well as commercial real estate and logistics—its traditional areas of expertise—the Group is now a mid-sized company also specializing in environmental consulting and consulting on industrial organization and operational excellence. ELCIMAÏ offers a unique, comprehensive integrated engineering model that enables it to tackle the most ambitious projects, both in France and internationally. It generated revenue of €45 million in 2018 and is expected to reach €60 million this year. With nearly 400 employees (53 % of whom work at headquarters), ELCIMAÏ is now a major driver of economic growth in Seine-et-Marne.

Through the various subsidiaries that make up its real estate division, as well as those dedicated to digital technology and process engineering, the 300 engineers in the ELCIMAÏ Group’s Engineering division design and deliver state-of-the-art facilities for cutting-edge industries across all sectors : aerospace, agri-food, healthcare/cosmetics…

As part of its “Eco-Responsible Industries” initiative, ELCIMAÏ develops and optimizes solutions tailored to its clients’ needs in terms of the management, treatment, and recovery of byproducts and other industrial waste, as well as alternative energy production (solar, photovoltaic, biomass, geothermal, etc.).

The constant evolution of markets, products, and services, coupled with a need for increasingly rapid return on investment, is driving a rethinking of factories impacted by the environmental and digital transition. Innovation and the development of new expertise call for the design of state-of-the-art production units, while manufacturers expect productivity increases of at least 30 % to justify the reorganization of existing sites or the deployment of new factories.

The ELCIMAÏ Group is betting that the factory of the future, as it envisions it, will contribute to the revitalization of French industry : flexible and therefore modular, eco-built and therefore sustainable, digital and therefore connected, while still leaving room for people.

Its teams are dedicated to studying new configurations and the long-term usability of industrial buildings, offering economic performance that breaks with standard solutions. Their research aims to develop a new paradigm for the factory of the future consisting of :

ELCIMAÏ’s Sustainable Industrial Envelope (EID®) was also selected as part of the Innov’Up Leader PIA call for projects, established by the French government and the Île-de-France region to make innovation a priority lever for strengthening business competitiveness.

At the 2019 Commercial Real Estate Fair (SIMI), Christophe Chauvet, Managing Partner of Development at ELCIMAÏ Réalisations, will present the Group’s offerings and several projects developed in the department, at the invitation of the Melun Val de Seine Urban Community.
