A leading player for several years in the “Factory of the Future” movement, Elcimaï is developing its unique Industry 4.0 factory concept : a flexible, innovative, legally secure, and optimized site solution, offered for “off-plan sale” and delivered quickly, with a production facility designed to adapt to the needs and activities of its occupants.

The land is provided by EPA Sénart in the Bois des Saints-Pères business park, straddling the municipalities of Cesson and Savigny-le-Temple.

EPA Sénart and Elcimaï : a unique partnership

With a dynamic ecosystem of over 6,300 companies primarily focused on the supply chain and industrial sectors, EPA Sénart is developing several parks dedicated to industrial activities
. The availability of land, road access, and the region’s service offerings have already attracted several international leaders : Iris Ohyama, Plasson, and BioBank this year, as well as Leroy Merlin and Cdiscount.

AN OPTIMIZED, MODULAR FACILITY WITH A LOW CARBON FOOTPRINT

With the “Factory of the Future,” Elcimaï has designed an innovative industrial project combining industrial flexibility and digital modularity.

Covering a built area of 21,400 m² (expandable from 10,000 to 35,000 m²) on a
5.3-hectare site, the facility was designed by
Elcimaï based on its unique Sustainable Industrial Envelope (EID®) concept.
The offering consists of a target program that can be adapted to evolve according to the end-user’s needs.

To meet the needs of the new industry : the project, combined with a digital twin created using BIM, the EID® is designed to adapt to the uses of its occupants (for example, shifting from aerospace production to cosmetics or pharmaceutical production).

Thanks to its flexible and modular structure, the factory can accommodate a wide variety of manufacturing processes. This Industry 4.0 facility incorporates Schneider Electric’s EcoStruxure technology modules, which enable energy consumption optimization through integration with Wonderware (Schneider Electric group), the integration of green energy into building management, the optimization of building and process management, as well as the implementation of predictive maintenance for sensitive equipment.
