Elcimaï, a key player in the reindustrialization of the Île-de-France region

With over 20 years of specialization in digital and real estate engineering, as well as consulting in industrial organization and operational excellence, ELCIMAÏ is committed to the vision that the factory of the future, as it envisions it, will contribute to the revitalization of French industry, and in particular that of the Île-de-France region.

The constant evolution of markets, products, and services, coupled with a need for increasingly rapid return on investment, is driving a rethinking of factories. Innovation and the development of new expertise call for the design of production units of excellence, while manufacturers expect productivity increases of at least 30 % to justify the reorganization of existing facilities or the deployment of new factories.

A VISION OF THE FACTORY OF TOMORROW

Because it anticipated the digital revolution and its impact on production, the Melun-based ELCIMAÏ Group offers companies analyses and solutions to help them create, optimize, or upgrade their industrial and logistics sites, in full alignment with their development strategy.

It uniquely offers a comprehensive integrated engineering model that guarantees the essential support needed for the success of such projects. Through the various subsidiaries that make up its real estate division (ELCIMAÏ Engineering Architecture, BCA/DMI, GIRUS GE), as well as those dedicated to digital solutions (ELCIMAÏ Informatique) and process engineering (ELCIMAÏ Conseil).

Its 380 engineers design state-of-the-art facilities for cutting-edge industries across all sectors : aerospace, food processing, healthcare/cosmetics… Modular, flexible, digital, and eco-friendly factories built to meet new industrial challenges.

A locally committed player

In the Île-de-France region, the Group—which affirms its commitment to supporting the regional economy—has recently delivered projects emblematic of a new industrial momentum : in Buchelay (78) and Paris-Villaroche (77) for the aerospace sector, and in Saint-Ouen-l’Aumône (95) for the automotive sector.

In early 2019, it will deliver a new parcel delivery hub in the Tertre de Montereau sur le Jard commercial zone, adjacent to the Paris-Villaroche site, which is set to become a leading hub for the Île-de-France aerospace industry.

Against the backdrop of rapid e-commerce growth, which requires courier services to deliver seven days a week, this project—which will create about 100 jobs—will incorporate one of the most innovative automation processes.
