About the Altaïr Group
Founded in 1946 as Brunel Frères SARL, the Altaïr Group, a specialist in home maintenance, renovation, and protection products, has grown through a series of strategic acquisitions over the past 15 years. Today, the group employs nearly 450 people in France, Spain, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Poland, and offers approximately 3,500 products under four major brands (Starwax, Briochin, Marcel Green Soap, and Mistol), which it markets in more than 40 countries.

Elcimaï Environnement’s Mission
After entrusting the teams at Elcimaï Environnement with the task of optimizing wastewater treatment at its site in Noyelles-lès-Seclin (59), the Altaïr Group tasked the teams at Elcimaï Business Solutions with supporting it in the deployment of the M3 software suite, as a complement to the Infor solution.
Elcimaï Business Solutions’ Mission
Its growth objectives led the group to deploy this ERP system—specifically designed for the chemical industry—as a single “central model” for reference and as a platform for sharing processes and information among its various entities.
“Thanks to Infor M3, we were able to standardize our processes and meet the challenge of centralizing information,” explains Mr. Sylvain BERDIN, Director of Information Systems at the Altaïr Group. “Elcimaï was able to provide us with the right skills at the right time, which is essential in an ERP project. Today, Elcimaï continues to support us with TMA services. This long-term support greatly facilitates process execution.”
Altaïr now hosts the M3 solution in its data center, enabling the centralization of all information, improved communication between subsidiaries, and the sharing of best practices. More specifically, Infor M3 manages operations related to purchasing/sales, production (manufacturing and packaging of products), logistics, quality control, and finance.
“We faced two challenges during this integration : the outsourcing of logistics and Altaïr’s high seasonality, which required us to act at a specific time,” adds Anthony Riom of Elcimaï Business Solutions.
“The goal now is to continue this journey with the Altaïr Group and deploy the Infor M3 solution across various European sites. This is an opportunity for Elcimaï to expand beyond its borders !”
