Elcimaï Software & Services is expanding its offerings to the banking sector with the Mail Banking feature
Mail Banking, the new “MADE IN ELCIMAI” feature,
for the banking sector
Elcimaï Software & Services, whose approximately 100 employees work in the banking, insurance, healthcare, and social security sectors, focuses primarily on :
- publishing and integrating the modular software solutions WeBank* and WeXee**, designed respectively for the banking and healthcare/social security sectors,
- and, as a digital services provider, application outsourcing, technical support, and project development with guaranteed results.
To strengthen its offering for banks, Elcimaï Software & Services has developed the Mail Banking feature. This communication method allows bank customers to initiate transfers, direct debits, and other transactions directly via their email clients (Outlook, Lotus, Thunderbird, etc.) to their bank.
When a customer sends a signed and encrypted email, they are identified, and their attachments are processed by the bank. “We needed to simplify the process of sending banking transactions. We looked for the communication channel common to all businesses—the one they use most frequently. Email seemed like the obvious choice,” explains Houari Yahia, Sales Director at Elcimaï Software & Services. “Based on this observation, we designed a process that allows companies to send their transactions simply and securely. This alternative channel can be used on a daily basis or on an ad hoc basis.”
Mail Banking offers major advantages
- User-friendliness : use of multiple email addresses,
- Simplicity : handling multiple attachments in a single email,
- Security : only known emails are signed.
