GIRUS GE is becoming Elcimaï Environnement and will adopt the status of a "mission-driven company"

In August 2016, the ELCIMAÏ Group announced the acquisition of GIRUS, an engineering and consulting firm with 125 employees specializing in environmental consulting, waste and water treatment, energy and fluid systems, as well as buildings and civil engineering. With a strategic presence in about ten cities across France, GIRUS had an impressive track record in both the private and public sectors.

By expanding its business lines and locations, the ELCIMAÏ Group became a key player in the sector and joined the ranks of mid-sized companies. In fact, at the time, it primarily worked with industrial clients on consulting projects related to industrial organization and logistics, construction and industrial process engineering, and building architecture as a Project Management Assistant, Project Manager, or on “turnkey” projects.

Three years later, the teams share the same core values : collaboration, innovation, motivation, and responsible commitment. They also share the same offices, working together on projects for a shared client portfolio, with each bringing their own unique strengths and expertise. Naturally, we decided to change our name. As of January 1, GIRUS GE became ELCIMAÏ Environnement.

ELCIMAÏ Environnement will continue to offer all services related to the ecological transition and the circular economy : consulting, studies, support and assistance, project management, … and to strengthen the ELCIMAÏ Group’s expertise in the environmental sector. As part of its “Eco-Responsible Industries” initiative, it develops and optimizes solutions tailored to its clients’ ambitions regarding the management, treatment, and recovery of byproducts and other industrial waste, as well as alternative energy production (solar, photovoltaic, biomass, geothermal, etc.) ; all with the specific goal of combining economic profitability and eco-responsibility.

In addition to this name change, ELCIMAÏ Environnement also intends to evolve to become a “mission-driven company.” Indeed, the Pacte Law passed in May 2019 allows certain companies to demonstrate their commitment to societal issues.
