Industry of the Future : Elcimaï and EPA Sénart at the 2019 Paris Air Show.
The ELCIMAÏ Group and EPA Sénart will present the project being developed at the Sénart-Bois des Saints-Pères site at the Paris Air Show on Tuesday, June 18, at 4:00 p.m., in the Île-de-France Pavilion
On the occasion of the Paris Air Show in Le Bourget, and as part of its commitment to fostering innovation, the Île-de-France Regional Council will host the ELCIMAÏ Group for the presentation of one of its real estate projects in the Île-de-France region, developed in partnership with EPA Sénart.
Spanning 20,000 m² and dedicated to the aerospace industry, the project at the Sénart-Bois des Saints-Pères site, on the outskirts of the Greater Paris metropolitan area, was entirely conceived around the concept of the factory of the future as envisioned by ELCIMAÏ : flexible and therefore modular, eco-built and therefore sustainable, digital and therefore connected, while still leaving room for people. The constant evolution of markets, coupled with a need for increasingly rapid return on investment, is driving a rethinking of factories impacted by the environmental and digital transition.
Schneider Electric, WONDERWARE (a predictive maintenance and operations solution), and INFOR are partners in this project.
The Île-de-France region, which accounts for one-third of France’s GDP and 40 % of R&D spending, is Europe’s leading region for the aerospace sector. However, it suffers from a shortage of industrial land. The Operation of National Interest (OIN) in Sénart, part of the Greater Paris South area, and the Bois des Saints-Pères business park therefore represent a real opportunity for establishment and development.
