The Low-Tech Meeting
The climate crisis and shifting international geopolitical landscape have highlighted the vulnerabilities of our economic and energy systems, as well as the need to find solutions that are more sustainable, both environmentally and economically.
“Low-tech” is an integral part of the response to these issues and of how we address current and future challenges. As a movement advocating the use of simple, low-cost, and sustainable technologies, “low-tech” can help reduce our dependence on fossil fuels while minimizing waste and strengthening our self-sufficiency.
The democratization and adoption of low-tech technologies (solar panels, gravity irrigation systems, rainwater harvesting, renewable energy production, etc.) will help solve the problems we face today and that will become even more critical tomorrow—a topic of great importance at the heart of our webinar.
