Banking Mobility : Elcimaï Financial Software Certified as a SEPAmail-Listed Service Provider for the AIGUE-MARINE Application
Elcimaï Financial Software announces its certification for the SEPAmail AIGUE-MARINE application, which enables compliance with the objectives of the Macron Law by facilitating and optimizing bank switching.
The Macron Law requires simplifying the process of changing bank accounts, and securing and automating account transfers between banks, effective February 6, 2017.
This dual objective faces various challenges related to banking mobility : complex and tedious procedures, laborious and manual data exchanges with non-standardized and unstructured data flows, and numerous stakeholders and data points.
As an interbank exchange service that automates all data flows necessary for bank switching, the AIGUE-MARINE application was launched by SEPAmail.eu in October 2015 and has been adopted by the majority of French banks. While authorized to offer access to this secure messaging service, solution providers must nevertheless obtain certification for their applications from SEPAmail.eu.
Elcimaï Financial Software is delighted to join the select group of certified solution providers with its “SEPAmailRe@dy Module AIGUE-MARINE” solution, which optimizes banking mobility by ensuring the transfer of a customer’s data from one bank to another, as well as the automatic transfer of payments with the customer’s creditor banks.

Furthermore, Elcimaï Financial Software has truly designed its solution with usability in mind, rather than limiting it solely to the management of funds transfers. In fact, depending on the transaction type, the solution enables automated updates of :
- third-party account repositories,
- mandate databases,
- notifications to third parties (to confirm that the new contact information has been properly updated),
- and the integration of standing orders.
Integration of the “SEPAmailRe@dy Module AIGUE-MARINE” is quick and requires no training. This solution can also be supplemented with the “RUBIS” modules, to manage invoice payment requests and authorize payments, and the “DIAMOND” modules, to ensure the reliability of IBAN-type bank identifiers and associated data.
